Took joe conger fishing last night and we hooked a 35lb fish, Trev hit 1 and Turls & Branan drew blanks

After all season trying to get a nice Bass it paid off today went out to the Egan lane wreck twice this week at very early hours of the morning with no rewards, but today Turls picking me up at 6am after a night on the ale i thought it was going to be same old ,,, no BASS but coming back from the Egan seen some action on the surface and first cast with the trusted dexter wedge banged into a 7lb Bass at last seems all worthwhile now, with my nice ray the other day its looks like once again i will grab mudcity fisherman of the year for the fourth year running , i now no why im being called Ted Tuckerman .

Hit a nice ray today out in Bomber JD, she weighed in at a nice 13lb, we also had loads of maccies and darcy had a bream,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, tight lines

Went for a walk today , up maker down the valley to hooe lake and on the beech well windy, then on to edgcumbe arms for a pint of ratlers cider and cheesy chips and the kids met a rat called nikki,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Hit the eels again on friday out in Bombers JD, A great nights fishing once again at the hotspot , we all hit fish , even new to the game Vinnie getting two starfish and a nice little eel, i myself lost 4 fish and i landed a 20ib turls hooked into a nice 28lb which give him a good fight as you can see in pic, Bomber hit two fish with the best of the night ,just short of 30lb, he is getting brave two as you can see in pic , not many would put there hand that close to a eels mouth,,,,

After many months of renovation work on Turls & Kates pad, The popular local skipper is back on the waters with KT, many had thought she had been sold even rumours she was sitting on the seabed, But last night Turls took KT out for a conger trip with brother Beno and dad Dennis, to look for the beasts, Of course he went to the hotspot and the nights fishing produced great fish hooking into 3 eels with Dennis catching the biggest hitting the scales at 43lbs which is one hell of a fish for an old seadog ,, So Turley could be back to his best or has he just been studying local boats Last Orders and JD, well what ever the case the Milbrook Flotilli are glad to see the return of the famous KT welcome home Turls

Skipper Bomber is getting quite a name for himself, after a couple of trips out in JD he has found a conger spot which delivered 15 eels in 3 trips, this is one of the conger in the pic , i myself was there to pull this in the boat with a gaff and it weighed in at 40lb not sure who caught it as Pearcy and Bombers lines were both on the fish, and Darcy did not know whose hook he pulled out lol, but all the boys have hit emm Bomber Darcy Pearcy Turls Zak, so ive gota get my ass out there as ive not hooked yet, TIGHTLINES

Anyone seen this boat its Nick Turleys KT there is great concern, as boat not been seen for some time now, rumour has it shes lying up in huggins boatyard somewere, other fishermen say shes been sold, This would be a great shame as this was at one time the daddy of all boats and the start of the millbrook flotilli,, You have all heard about JD , 4nik8or ,Last Orders, and good old Betsy Anne catching fish but they are missing the mother ship KT, please keep a look out for her and her Captain, there will be a search party bank holiday sunday which i believe will be starting at the rise n sun at about 7pm

Bomber new boat which now been named JD went out on her maiden voyage last night, and her first fishing trip landed her two nice sized conger, skipper Bomber had 1 and novice fisherman carl hit the other , local boys Turls Darcy Pearcy all drew blanks,Bomber looks like he has picked up handy tips from Hoffys Last Orders, i myself could not make the trip aboard JD as i was driving around north coast finding new fishing hotspots as i report for a famous anglers magazine. But by the sounds of things they could of done with me there as they were all to shit scared to give the congar a slap,,,,,, what they going to do when we go for the sharks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just been looking through pics from world cup seems a lifetime ago, what a week , Me and JOE travelled around Germany in a estate car, the first night stayed in Kaiserslautern watched the Italy v aussies at the Fritz Walter Stadium, great stadium, the aussies were robbed, funny how italy went on to win world cup, partied that night at fanfest with aussies great time with joe doing some awsome cornish rave dancing,,, next day on to Frankfurt watched the brazil game at the fanfest great night, we were out till about 4am and me and joe both minged up, then on to Dortmund, no game on so out on the lash, we bumped into some crazy leeds boys, nodger and cant remember other name , got wasted ended up in a nice friendly bar , were joe was very popular , no not with the ladies ,,,,,the men oooooooooo they wanted him bad but i told them he was my bitch and they backed off lol , Then next day head up north to Hamburg had tickets for italy v ukraine sold them for 400 euro and the cash will go to trying to buy tickets for England v Portugal ,,, stayed in Hamburg for the night at the famous Reeperbahn area wowwwww what a place, great night then next day head back south to Gelsenkirken for the all important game, stayed there night before and watched germany beat the argies in hotel and had a beer with the well pleased and very hospitable Germans they even bought me and joe a beer,, anyway up next day for big game and to the stadium were FC Schalke 04 play to see if we can get tickets, the place was packed with English everywere never seen nothing like it fantastic atmosphere, me and joe spend couple of hours trying to get tickets in the end get 2 of a German guy cat 1 tickets which were the best , we were in mentel, i had the hairs standing on the back of my neck during the national anthem, well you all no what happened next the pic is of me and joe during pen shootout i think,,,, gutted gutted gutted bit surreal after pens but thats life really thought we were going to pull it off, anyway me and Joe had a week to remember and tell the granchildren cos in a word it was AWSOMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEe Cheers joe

Bomber had a nice 14lb ling on last orders on monday fishing 16 miles sw of plymouth, making last orders top fishing boat, Nick Turleys Kt is not catching nothing and is now known as a day trip pleasure boat just to enjoy the views and sit on deck chairs, come on nick pull ya finger out ya gonna be a dad soon !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! . Went out to watch fireworks last night , well cool, joe and al did not make it out in the 4nik8or as you can read on joes blog bowlog,,,, joe sometimes forgets to put it in !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
